1 Corinthians 10:13. "No temptation has seized you beyond what people normally experience, and God can be trusted not to allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. On the contrary, along with the temptation He will also provide the way out, so that you will be able to endure." We all have our moments in life where our temptations feel overwhelming, but these are the moments that we must turn to the Father and ask for His rescue. I myself had a moment like this and the Lord brought me to my knees, but he also saved me and the scripture above is what gave me peace through the night. This is when the calling for Prodigal Kitchen started.
Years ago I worked in the culinary world, but after my second child was born I left so that I could be around more. I love cooking food for people and seeing their reactions. We have since moved back to Montrose, CO and I am on a mission to bring a modern day comfort food to the community and share with people what the Lord has done for my family and I.
Our goal is to not only be innovative with our food, but to change it seasonally. Bringing our customers new options as much as possible while still keeping the ones that they love. Also did you know that our pork is raised right here by us on our hobby farm and the cabrito that we cook is raised by local 4H kids.
